General information
High Z's runs offshore and reef trips from Ocean World Marina in Puerto Plata on a 34-foot and a 50-foot Luhrs. Marlin, mahi and wahoo offshore, snapper and grouper on the bottom, and the captain cooks your catch. Tackle is Penn and Shimano. Fruit and snacks come standard, with sandwiches on the longer charters. Fishing license, live bait and drinks are included; the first mate's tip is not. Bring sunscreen and polarized sunglasses.

About Tour
El capitán Nelson Herrera lleva más de 35 años operando charters de pesca desde la Marina Ocean World, en Cofresí, y en ese tiempo ha ganado una buena cantidad de torneos de picudos, en el país y fuera de él. Es la tercera generación de su familia en el mar, criado pescando el Caribe. High Z's Fishing Tours trabaja con dos botes: uno de 34 pies para grupos pequeños y un Luhrs de 50 pies con dos motores Detroit, aire acondicionado, fly bridge y cocina completa para grupos grandes. Marlín azul y blanco, pez vela, tuna aleta amarilla, wahoo y dorado son los objetivos. En las salidas de día completo, Nelson cocina la pesca a bordo: cocinar es su otra pasión.
